I like to observe people. To see what makes them tick. How they react to certain things and how they interact with others. To get a glimpse into their genuine personality. It might sound funny but people watching makes me think how I would react in that same situation which in turn helps me to get to know myself better.
Becoming our best selves is what its all about. By understanding our specific natural qualities we can purposefully put ourselves into situations where we will thrive. Especially in business when you work from home, knowing your strengths and weaknesses can be the success or failure of your business. If you try so hard to approach your business in a way that is unnatural you will eventually fail. And no one wants to fail.
Kelly McCausey has come up with a free resource called Why Copycats Fail. This will help you determine your personality type which will help you be true to your nature.
I was taking a psychology class in high school and I remember the teacher pointed out that I had a melancholy personality. I immediately took offense (insecure) because I thought it was a bad thing. Over the years I’ve discovered some traits can be considered negative but I have some excellent positive traits as well (sensitive, detailed, loyal, thoughtful).
After taking the evaluation included in Kelly’s report, my personality traits are mostly Melancholy (18) with a side of Phlegmatic (12) and a smidgin of Sanguine (5) and Choleric (5) mixed in. What do all these terms mean? Kelly gives you a rundown of some of the strengths and weaknesses of each of the personality types.

Feel free to add how that makes you feel, if were aware of this before reading this report, if it brought some personality type to light or how knowing these things about yourself will help you with your business.
