Don’t Let Fear Stop You…

SYC-ChallengerI attended the opening ceremonies last night for the Stretch Yourself Challenge with Kelly McCausey. I’m so excited to be doing this because I’ve felt like I’m in a hamster wheel going around and around but not really making much progress.

Getting Past the Hurt

I shared with the group last night that stepping out of my comfort zone means writing from the heart. Way back when, I had someone I respected tell me something very hurtful, not on one occasion but several, which put a stop to me writing. The problem is that was just his opinion. I quit doing something I liked because I was petrified of being crushed again. No one should have that power over me (or you).

You’re probably thinking why on earth would you start a blog if you’re afraid to write. I asked myself the same thing and you know what…I’m getting over it. Don’t get me wrong there are still pain points and anxiety but if I let this fear stop me then I’m wasting my time in this business.

Ditch the Comfort Zone

The Stretch Yourself Challenge is meant to get you out of your comfort zone and doing the things you should be doing to get you noticed. If growing your business is as important to you as it is to me or if you’re new to online business this challenge is perfect for you.

Below are a few things Kelly said in the webinar last night that stuck out to me. If this sounds like something you can benefit from check out the Stretch Yourself Challenge for yourself. I’d love it if you’d join us! Be sure to do it before October 7 – that’s when the doors close for this year. You don’t want to miss this!

Thanks Faydra. I’m feeling so pumped and glad to be connecting to people on a more personal level with this challenge – some I’ve been acquainted with for a while and some new. It’s cool! I look forward to your expertise as well! See ya on the inside. 🙂
